We are very excited to announce a new partnership with Portland Pedal Power. PPP's cargo bikes deliver our groceries throughout northwest Portland and downtown. Produce, eggs, milk, bread, dry goods, beer, and wine can all be brought to your door.

We'll update our web site in the coming days with ordering procedures, a map of the delivery area, and the fee structure.

Portland Pedal Power is a bike-based business started in 2007. They pedal flowers, food-cart meals, hardware, and coffee all over the west side of town.

ART EXHIBITION:
About the artist (from the artist): I have grown up in Alaska, California and Ohio. I received my Bachelor in Fine Arts from Ohio State University in 2003. While my focus was in ceramic sculpture, drawing and painting have been my dominant media. My influences are the accumulation of my personal experiences. They range from surrealism to abstract, tattoo imagery to Tlingit woodcarvings.

Loki Fish Company is a family owned and operated business founded in 1979. Loki Salmon is proud to participate in a salmon harvest that has been internationally certified as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council. Loki Fish Company harvests wild Pacific salmon, and dresses the catch immediately at sea, ensuring salmon's clean, fresh quality. Loki Salmon can be found by name in some of the finest restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. We know you will find their salmon second-to-none. Little Green Grocer carries both Loki Fish Company's salmon fillets and smoked salmon.

Jill Bliss's stunning mural on our back wall is now completely lit. Thanks to lighting designer extraordinaire, Francesca Quagliata, for giving this artwork its proper treatment. The mural, which depicts the native plants of Tanner Springs park, is cause alone for a trip to our store in NW Portland. Check out Jill's diverse collection when you have a few minutes.

Thanks very much to David Gish for guiding our wine selections and menu creation through the first 6 weeks at Little Green Grocer. Paul Losch has capably taken the reins for our prepared food offerings and has quite a few treats in his repertoire. Our customers have been raving about his entrees, soup, and spreads. Check out our winter menu and stop in for a few extra surprises.
